Education
My college career began at Mira Costa Community College in Oceanside, California. I attended for a year and mostly took basic GE courses. I did well, averaging a 3.6 GPA. After that, I left college for a year to do some soul searching and decided to attend San Diego Christian College in Santee in 2012. While there, I had the opportunity to study abroad, which I did, allowing me to spend a semester studying at the University of Oxford in England. I graduated San Diego Christian College in Spring of 2015 with my BA in English, Magna cum Laude (3.8 GPA). In the fall, I will begin a teacher credential/masters dual program.
Experience
I was recommended by my professors to work in the Writing Lab based on my writing skills. I worked there for two years, editing and helping my fellow student with their essays. I am familiar with editing MLA and APA formatting, English grammar and mechanics, as well as style and techniques for better writing. I also assisted an online professor in grading her student's papers for grammar, mechanics, and formatting. I received high marks in all of my college courses, especially in those that involved literature and writing.
